The Australian leg of the KOSBAB family emigrated aboard the Cameronia from England to Australia in 1952.
George and Doris Kosbab with their two young sons Derek and Michael excitedly boarded the emigration ship with the promise of a new land, work and prosperity.
On the long journey, Michael became ill but managed to survive to the arrival in Melbourne.
The Kosbab members pictured are my parents, with my two older brothers.
They initially settled in Tasmania working for a pastor family, before moving to Melbourne Australia where the young family grew and expanded.
In 1955, Brian Kosbab was born (me) and in 1958 Wendy Kosbab was born.
